Catontech Management Systems LLC
Catontech Management Systems LLC (“Catontech,” “we,” “us”) builds purpose-built software and protects the systems that run a client’s daily work. This policy explains what we collect from people who visit catontech.com, how we use it, and the line we do not cross.
We do not sell information about visitors to this site. Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
Texts in the program below are sent from (601) 207-1047. Twilio may transmit a message to the wireless carriers so it can be delivered. That handoff sends the message. It does not share the mobile opt-in or the consent record with Twilio, Grasshopper, or anyone else. Twilio does not receive that opt-in data to sell, to market, or to use for its own business. We do not buy, sell, rent, or transfer consent.
Signing up for this program means you asked us to text you, or you texted (601) 207-1047. A phone number on the contact form is a request for a call about that inquiry. It is not, by itself, consent to this text program.

This policy covers the public website at catontech.com. Client software, invoicing, and managed security work are also covered by the agreement for that engagement. When those terms speak to the same subject, the client agreement controls for that work.
We collect information in three ways: what you give us, what the site records while you browse, and what you send when you call or text us.
If you use the contact form, we collect the fields you fill in: your name, email address, the reason you wrote, and your message. Phone number and company name are optional. Choosing phone as the way we should reply is a request for a call about that inquiry. It is not consent to a marketing text campaign.
While you browse, the site and Google Analytics record ordinary technical details: pages viewed, roughly when you viewed them, browser type, and an IP address used to understand general location and to keep the site secure. We use that measurement to see which pages are useful. We do not use it to build a visitor profile that we sell.
If you ask us to text you, or you text us, we collect your mobile number, the content of that conversation, and a record that you agreed to receive those messages.
We use visitor information to:
We use visitor information for those purposes. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it.
We use your email address to reply to you. We do not add people who merely visit the site to a mailing list that we sell or rent. When an email is delivered through Twilio SendGrid, SendGrid processes the message so it can be delivered and so the mail stream can be protected from abuse, including signals such as delivery, bounce, and spam complaints. SendGrid does not receive visitor information so it can sell that information or use it for its own promotions. Every marketing-style email we might send in the future would include a working way to unsubscribe. A reply to a message you sent us is not that kind of mail.
Mobile opt-in and consent are never part of the disclosures below. Any information sharing in this section excludes mobile opt-in data. Apart from that excluded data, we disclose visitor information only in these cases:
Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. We do not sell personal information.
The site uses cookies and similar tools so pages load correctly and so Google Analytics can count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you do, the site still loads; we simply learn less about which pages were used. Google’s own description of its processing is at policies.google.com/privacy.
We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep an ordinary business record of the conversation. We keep a record of a text opt-out so we do not text you again. Analytics data follows the retention settings of the analytics tool. We do not keep visitor information in order to package it for sale.
We limit who can read visitor messages, and we keep production secrets off the public website. No method of transmission or storage is perfect. If a security incident affects visitor information, we will notify the people and authorities the law requires us to notify.
This site is written for businesses and the people who run them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child sent us information, email joel@catontech.com and we will delete it.
You may ask us what visitor information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email joel@catontech.com with the request. We will respond and will not treat you differently for asking. To stop texts, reply STOP. To limit analytics, use your browser’s cookie controls.
If we change this policy in a way that materially reduces how we protect visitor information, we will post the updated policy on this page before the change takes effect and we will change the effective date. The page you are reading is the current version.
