Catontech Management Systems LLC
These terms are the rules for using the public website at catontech.com, operated by Catontech Management Systems LLC (“Catontech,” “we,” “us”). By using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The site describes our work: custom operational software, and managed cybersecurity for the systems that run daily operations. Reading the site, sending a contact message, or downloading a security resource does not by itself create a client engagement. Paid software and security work is covered by a separate written agreement. If that agreement and these terms both speak to the same project, the agreement controls for that project.
You may use the site to learn about our work and to contact us. You agree that you will not:
We may block or limit access that threatens the site, our clients, or other people.
Twilio may transmit a customer-care text to the wireless carriers so it can be delivered from (601) 207-1047. That handoff sends the message. It does not share the mobile opt-in or the consent record. The full statement is in the Privacy Policy.
These terms apply when you opt in to customer-care texts from Catontech Management Systems LLC. The same program is stated on the Privacy Policy, and that page holds the privacy details for the program.
A phone number on the contact form is a request for a call about that inquiry. It is not, by itself, consent to this text program.
We email you to answer a message you sent, or to carry out a client engagement you have with us. Delivery may pass through Twilio SendGrid so the message can be sent and so abuse of the mail stream can be stopped. We do not sell email addresses collected from visitors to this site, and we do not share them for a third party’s own promotions.
The text, design, and code of this site belong to Catontech or to the people who licensed them to us. Documents we host from a partner, including Acronis security resources, remain that partner’s property. You may read and share a link to a public page. You may not copy the site to offer a competing service, and you may not remove the notices that identify the owner.
You keep ownership of what you submit through the contact form. You give us permission to use that submission to respond to you and to keep a business record of the conversation.
The site may link to other companies, and our communications may be carried by Grasshopper, Twilio, Twilio SendGrid, or measured by Google Analytics. Those companies have their own terms. Catontech is not those companies, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site. Security resources posted here are educational. They are a starting point for a conversation about risk, and they are not a promise that a particular control will stop every attack.
The public website is provided as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Catontech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of this public website. Our total liability for a claim that arises only from use of the public website is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars, or the amount you paid us specifically to access the website, whichever is greater. Liability for a paid client project stays in the agreement for that project. Some states do not allow certain limitations, and in those states the limitation applies only as far as the law allows.
You will defend and hold harmless Catontech and its members from claims, losses, and reasonable expenses that arise from your misuse of the site, from content you submit, or from your violation of these terms, except to the extent the claim is caused by our own misconduct.
Mississippi law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that arise from the public website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Mississippi, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Either of us may still seek injunctive relief to protect confidential information or intellectual property.
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. If you keep using the site after that date, you agree to the updated terms. The messaging rules above apply to texts you opt into after the effective date, and an opt-out you already sent remains in force.
